    Se presenta un nuevo método para tratar situaciones de incertidumbre en los que se utiliza el operador OWAWA (media ponderada – media ponderada ordenada). A este operador se le denomina operador OWAWA borroso (FOWAWA). Su principal ventaja se encuentra en la posibilidad de representar la información incierta del problema mediante el uso de números borrosos los cuales permiten una mejor representación de la información ya que consideran el mínimo y el máximo resultado posible y la posibilidad de ocurrencia de los valores internos. Se estudian diferentes propiedades y casos particulares de este nuevo modelo. También se analiza la aplicabilidad de este operador y se desarrolla un ejemplo numérico sobre toma de decisiones en la selección de políticas fiscalesWe present a new approach for dealing with an uncertain environment when using the ordered weighted averaging – weighted averaging (OWAWA) operator. We call it the fuzzy OWAWA (FOWAWA) operator. The main advantage of this new aggregation operator is that it is able to represent the uncertain information with fuzzy numbers. Thus, we are able to give more complete information because we can consider the maximum and the minimum of the problem and the internal information between these two results. We study different properties and different particular cases of this approach. We also analyze the applicability of the new model and we develop a numerical example in a decision making problem about selection of fiscal policies

    Decision making in reinsurance with induced OWA operators and Minkowski distances

    The decision to choose a reinsurance program has many complexities because it is difficult to simultaneously achieve high levels in different optimal criteria including maximum gain, minimum variance, and probability of ruin. This article suggests a new method by which, through membership functions, we can measure the distance of each alternative to an optimal result and aggregate it by using different types of aggregations. In this article, particular attention is given to the induced Minkowski ordered weighted averaging distance operator and the induced Minkowski probabilistic ordered weighted averaging distance operator. The main advantage of these operators is that they include a wide range of special cases. Thus, they can adapt efficiently to the specific needs of the calculation processes. By doing so, the reinsurance system can make better decisions by using different scenarios in the uncertain environment considered

    Setting a commercial premium for an insurance policy is a complex process, even, though statistical tools provide fairly reliable information on the behavior of the frequency and cost of claims differentiated by risk profiles reflected in pure premium calculations. However lately setting the price the customer must pay has not been easy, because of the uncertainty of, having to use subjective criteria to analyze how demand may be affected by different price alternatives and economic situations. This article aims to develop this process in two stages. The first stage is carried out with the opinion of experts applied to uncertain numbers and Ordered Weighted Average (OWA) operators to assess the overall benefits of each profile to choose the best alternative. The second stage, which uses Heavy OWA (HOWA) operators, is based on the results obtained in the first stage and chooses a general price alternative for all profiles

    [spa] Se presenta un nuevo modelo para la toma de decisiones basado en el uso de medidas de distancia y de operadores de agregación inducidos. Se introduce la distancia media ponderada ordenada inducida (IOWAD). Es un nuevo operador de agregación que extiende el operador OWA a través del uso de distancias y un proceso de reordenación de los argumentos basado en variables de ordenación inducidas. La principal ventaja el operador IOWAD es la posibilidad de utilizar una familia parametrizada de operadores de agregación entre la distancia individual máxima y la mínima. Se estudian algunas de sus principales propiedades y algunos casos particulares. Se desarrolla un ejemplo numérico en un problema de toma de decisiones sobre selección de inversiones. Se observa que la principal ventaja de este modelo en la toma de decisiones es la posibilidad de mostrar una visión más completa del proceso, de forma que el decisor está capacitado para seleccionar la alternativa que está más cerca de sus intereses.[eng] We present a new decision-making approach that uses distance measures and induced aggregation operators. We introduce the induced ordered weighted averaging distance (IOWAD) operator, a new aggregation operator that extends the OWA operator by using distance measures and a reordering of the arguments that depends on order-inducing variables. The main advantage of the IOWAD is that it provides a parameterized family of distance aggregation operators between the maximum and the minimum distance based on a complex reordering process that reflects a complex attitudinal character of the decision-maker. We study some of its main properties and particular cases. We develop an application in a decision-making problem regarding the selection of investments. We see that the main advantage of this approach in decision-making is that it is able to provide a more complete picture of the decision process, so the decision-maker is able to select the alternative most in accordance with his interests

    Induced aggregation operators in decision making with the Dempster-Shafer belief structure

    We study the induced aggregation operators. The analysis begins with a revision of some basic concepts such as the induced ordered weighted averaging (IOWA) operator and the induced ordered weighted geometric (IOWG) operator. We then analyze the problem of decision making with Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence. We suggest the use of induced aggregation operators in decision making with Dempster-Shafer theory. We focus on the aggregation step and examine some of its main properties, including the distinction between descending and ascending orders and different families of induced operators. Finally, we present an illustrative example in which the results obtained using different types of aggregation operators can be seen.- En este trabajo se estudian los operadores de agregación inducidos como son el induced ordered weighted averaging (IOWA) operator y el induced ordered weighted geometric (IOWG) operator. También se analiza el proceso de toma de decisiones mediante la estructura de credibilidad de Dempster-Shafer. La principal propuesta del trabajo es la utilización de operadores de agregación inducidos en la toma de decisiones mediante la estructura de credibilidad de Dempster-Shafer. Se da especial atención al proceso de agregación estudiando algunas de sus principales propiedades como son la distinción entre órdenes ascendentes y descendentes, y el estudio de diferentes familias de operadores inducidos. Finalmente, se desarrolla un ejemplo ilustrativo en donde se pueden observar los diferentes resultados obtenidos según el tipo de operador utilizado

    The induced generalized hybrid averaging operator and its application in financial decision making

    We present the induced generalized hybrid averaging (IGHA) operator. It is a new aggregation operator that generalizes the hybrid averaging (HA) by using generalized means and order inducing variables. With this formulation, we get a wide range of mean operators such as the induced HA (IHA), the induced hybrid quadratic averaging (IHQA), the HA, etc. The ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator and the weighted average (WA) are included as special cases of the HA operator. Therefore, with this generalization we can obtain a wide range of aggregation operators such as the induced generalized OWA (IGOWA), the generalized OWA (GOWA), etc. We further generalize the IGHA operator by using quasi-arithmetic means. Then, we get the Quasi-IHA operator. Finally, we also develop an illustrative example of the new approach in a financial decision making problem. The main advantage of the IGHA is that it gives a more complete view of the decision problem to the decision maker because it considers a wide range of situations depending on the operator used.Se presenta el operador induced generalized hybrid averaging (IGHA). Es un nuevo operador de agregación que generaliza la agregación híbrida (HA) a través de utilizar medias generalizadas y variables de ordenación inducidas. Con esta formulación, se obtiene una amplia gama de operadores de medias tales como el HA inducido (IHA), el HA inducido geométrico (IHGA), el HA inducido cuadrático (IHQA), etc. Obsérvese que el operador OWA y la media ponderada (WA) están incluidos como casos particulares del operador HA. Por eso, con esta generalización se puede obtener una amplia gama de WA, OWA y OWA inducidos (IOWA) como el operador OWA generalizado inducido (IGOWA), el operador OWA generalizado (GOWA), etc. También se presenta una generalización mayor al operador IGHA a través de utilizar medias cuasi-aritméticas que denominamos como el operador Quasi-IHA. Finalmente, también se desarrolla un ejemplo ilustrativo del nuevo modelo en un problema de toma de decisiones financieras. Su principal ventaja radica en la amplia gama de casos particulares disponibles lo cual ofrece al decisor una mejor visión del problema en cuestión

    We develop a new approach for decision making with Dempster-Shafer (D-S) theory of evidence. We focus on a problem where the available information is uncertain and it can be assessed with interval numbers. In order to aggregate the information, we suggest the use of different types of uncertain induced aggregation operators such as the uncertain induced ordered weighted averaging (UIOWA) and the uncertain induced hybrid averaging (UIHA) operator. As a result, we get new types of aggregation operators such as the belief structure � uncertain induced OWA (BS-UIOWA) and the belief structure � uncertain induced hybrid averaging (BS-UIHA) operator. The main advantage of using these operators is the possibility of using complex attitudinal characters in situations where it is not possible to simply use the degree of optimism of the decision maker. We study some of their main properties. We also develop an application of the new approach in a financial decision making problem about selection of investments.Se desarrolla un nuevo modelo para la toma de decisiones mediante la teoría de la evidencia de Dempster- Shafer. Se analiza situaciones inciertas en donde la información no puede ser tratada mediante números precisos pero sí mediante intervalos de confianza. Para agregar la información, se sugieren diferentes tipos de operadores de agregación inciertos e inducidos tales como el operador uncertain induced ordered weighted averaging (UIOWA) y el uncertain induced hybrid averaging (UIHA). Como resultado, se obtienen nuevos operadores de agregación tales como el BS-UIOWA y el BS-UIHA. La ventaja de utilizar estos operadores es la posibilidad de modelizar el carácter atitudinal del decisor ante situaciones complejas las cuales no pueden ser tratadas únicamente mediante el grado de optimismo del decisor.
